Meeting every month, staff members have prepared lessons, perfected teaching methods, and assisted at the Council's 2008 Scout-O-Rama.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_26_QOW2d5EA/SFQjLWk-jpI/AAAAAAAAAAU/2FiVOKhyZyM/s1600-h/DSC_0362.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_26_QOW2d5EA/SFQjLWk-jpI/AAAAAAAAAAU/2FiVOKhyZyM/s320/DSC_0362.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211829346720714386" border="0" /></a>Throughout the past week, staff members have participated in many projects, including: reconstructing the aquatics area, the archery range, and building Kiesel's newest activity station- wrist rockets! Fort Kiesel has been set-up to bring participants back to the early 1800's. This year's trading post is stocked with items that resemble the rendezvous of mountain men and indians- rabbit, fox, and badger furs, pocket knives, and mountain men trinkets.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_26_QOW2d5EA/SFQjYq_39AI/AAAAAAAAAAc/3dNEcePd7vo/s1600-h/DSC_0664.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_26_QOW2d5EA/SFQjYq_39AI/AAAAAAAAAAc/3dNEcePd7vo/s320/DSC_0664.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211829575540536322" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Within the fort's doors visitors will be greeted by our newest addition to the fort atmosphere- our Indian Lore station. Participants will be greeted by staff dressed in era costumes and learn about the wild frontier.
